Vash’s gun uses .22 caliber bullets. He carries an unknown but likely significant number of bullets: some in his pockets for quick access, but likely the majority of them are stored in his duffel bag.

Vash carries a set of gun maintenance tools.
Marksmanship and Trigger Discipline
Vash’s marksmanship is beyond any human capacity. His aim is directly accurate from a long distance and he generally uses the absolute minimum number of bullets to achieve his goals. He load a single bullet into his gun for a single shot, and only load all eight bullets when necessary.
Vash keeps his gun empty and his finger off the trigger unless absolutely necessary.
