Fusion With Tesla
When Knives is a preteen, we see that Tesla’s eye is embedded in the blades. At some point before this, likely before The Big Fall destroyed SEEDS05, Knives took Tesla’s eye and possibly the rest of her body parts and merged it into his own body. This shows that Knives has the ability to fuse with other plants, as he does in the Trigun manga.
