Original Tumblr Post: The Earth fleet

The Earth fleet

It feels a little petty but there’s something really satisfying about the fact that the earth fleet shows up, with all their functioning technology and their knowledge of independent plants, and they are also immediately overwhelmed by Knives.

I know they just want to help, they came here on a rescue mission, that’s the point. But they don’t just step in at the last minute and save the day. They can’t do any damage to Knives either. They lose one of their own to him. They nearly have to fire on one of their own until Vash cuts the line.

I don’t want to say I’m ENJOYING watching them struggle, that would be kinda mean, but it would also just be frustrating otherwise.
