Seven Cities Union

Octoburn is considered the fifth city of the Seven Cities Union. According to Studio Orange’s Story Conceptual Fragments: About the Seven Cities, the city was established sometime after July, Planetary Era 1.

Official Symbol

Each city in the Seven Cities Union has an official symbol used for communication and paperwork, typically printed or stamped in red ink. Octoburn’s symbol has not yet appeared in Stampede.

Studio Orange Conceptual Fragments

The Studio Orange Conceptual Fragments graphic that describes the Seven Cities is garbled for Octoburn. The corrupted text reads:

Due to the impact at the time of the crash, the stern of the ship was lifted almost vertically, resulting in a pointed tower-like structure, hence it is also known as the Tower City. Economic disparity between residents is more severe compared to the other six cities. Upper level buildings that have been built on top of each other are connected by aerial walkways with influential people living in the high rise residences, with the lower levels, which are dimly lit and inhabited by the poor. To suppress crimes caused by the wealth gap, a citizen militia was organized early on and possesses a military force.
