Slash Fan Fiction.

Most slash for Stargate fandom is for the Jack and Daniel pairing. This section primarily focuses on introducing you to stories of that type, but there is a section on other slash pairings at the bottom.

Getting To Know You.
Stories that focus solely on Jack and Daniel's relationship.

Everything has to start somewhere. In Justine's Policy Of Silence series, Jack and Daniel find themselves at the beginning of something new, but will they ever be able to get past the preliminaries? Let's hope so.

Anna's Lost In Translation is a wonderful little piece about Jack wondering just what it is he's gotten himself into with Daniel. Camped out off-world, he thinks about languages, spiders, and things that really belong in Box B, like Daniel's lips.

Steak, baby! Keiko Kirin's continuing series begins with Jack and Daniel trapped together with nothing to do but talk. As the stories continue, they engage in a slow and fascinating dance of courtship as they try to find just how their relationship will work with each new step they take.

Love In Motion.
Jack and Daniel in the context of action and adventure.

What if Jack and Daniel didn't make it back through the Stargate during the first season episode "The Torment Of Tantalus"? The Price of Knowledge and its sequel, Equilibrium, by Graculus and Jennifer Lyon, takes that kernel of an idea and builds upon it a complex and dangerous world for the stranded pair. You don't need to know the episode to enjoy this series as it is used as a jumping board rather than a focal point. The story is written in alternating first POV between Jack and Daniel.

Sometimes it takes a little outside help to make people accept love. In Alter Ergo and its sequel, Undercurrents, by ELG, Jack and Daniel are provided with two opportunities to find that out. The series starts with the pair having a grand time in someone else's bathtub, but once they discover that they are under an outside influence, their fears and doubts drive them apart. Will amnesia and imprisonment force them to confront their feelings for each other?

It's All Fun And Games.
Jack and Daniel laugh it up in these comedic stories.

Widget's Laundry Cycle series starts off innocently enough: why are Daniel's shirts shrinking? Things start to get out of hand soon after when Daniel discovers Jack put the orders in to shrink his clothes, and prank after prank escalates to a stunning finish.

In Biblio and PhoenixE's humor series, Commanding Daniel and its sequel, Commanding Daniel: A Rebuttal, Daniel recieves a copy of a new memo from Jack detailing the way to handle his wayward archeologist. This does not go down well at all, and Daniel writes a scathing rebuttal to the prankish memo. An incorrigable duo.

Anais' masterful series Dr Jackson's Diary is incomparable for sheer hilarity. One of the most unusual and out-and-out farcical stories in the fandom, it keeps getting better with each installment. Root for THING or Davis, scream with laughter at the latest ludicrous situation, and groan with frustration as Daniel's plans and intentions go awry time after time.

No Primrose Path.
More intense and unorthodox Jack and Daniel stories.

A simple gift from a peaceful culture turns Jack and Daniel's relationship on its head in Anna's The Other Half. The gift is a necklace that binds Jack to Daniel as an eager servant, but Daniel's refusal to take advantage of Jack in any way forces Jack to find some way, any way to make Daniel tell him what to do. Just who is really in charge here?

Jack and Daniel don't always have a good time, and one of the biggest realities they have to face is the ol' Don't Ask, Don't Tell. In Hellblazer's Conduct Unbecoming, someone tells, and the fallout is spectacular. In between trying to save their careers, Jack and Daniel have to try to save each other's sanity and their very relationship.

Other Pairings.
A sampling of the other slash pairings in the fandom.

After Jack and Daniel, Sam and Janet are the most popular slash duo in Stargate. Blazes' Daring lets these two (somewhat inebriated) women lose to enjoy themselves off-world, with romantic and entertaining results.

If you're looking for pairings with Teal'c, pickings are still somewhat slim, but there are authors working to rectify the situation. Morgan, one of those authors, has written a Daniel/Teal'c AU of epic proportions: End Of The World. In this series, Daniel's request to be selected as one of the children of the gods in the pilot was granted, and he was given as a slave to Apophis' First Prime, Teal'c. Events diverge wildly from the series after that point, but the results are definitely intriguing.

Unfortunately for fans of the Jack/Teal'c pairing, there are even fewer stories available for this slash pairing. However, Dorothy Marley's Excuses is a short but satisfying example of the subgenre, and more Jack/Teal'c stories should appear with time.
