Colonel Jack O'Neill, U.S. Air Force

Who He Is: Leader of SG-1, flagship team of the SGC.
Personality: Deeply sarcastic. Impatient. Tenacious. Loyal. Strong leader.
History: Former special ops. Joined original Stargate program to commit suicide for his country, but Daniel talked him out of it.
Family: Ex-wife, Sara O'Neill. Only son, Charlie O'Neill, accidentally shot himself with Jack's gun.
Loves: Kids. Dogs. Fishing. Being well-armed. The good guys winning.
Hates: The Goa'uld. NID. Colonel Maybourne. Leaving his people behind.

Doctor Daniel Jackson, PhD

Who He Is: Civilian archeologist, linguist, and Egyptologist of SG-1.
Personality: Curious. Driven. Intelligent. Stubborn. On occasion, snarky.
History: Exiled from academia for his outrageous theories about the pyramids, he was hired by the Air Force to decipher the Stargate. He did. Stayed on Abydos, the planet at the other end, for over a year, until Apophis kidnapped his Abydan wife Sha're and brother-in-law Skaara. Joined the SGC to fight the Goa'uld and rescue his family.
Family: Parents (deceased) Melburn and Claire Jackson. Maternal grandfather Nicholas Ballard. Wife Sha're. Brother-in-law Skaara. Father-in-law Kasuf.
Loves: Artifacts. Discovery. Communication. Sharing knowledge. Snake-baiting.

Major Doctor Samantha Carter, PhD, U.S. Air Force

Who She Is: Second-in-command (2IC) and astrophysicist of SG-1.
Personality: Loyal. Dedicated. Kind. Intelligent. Driven.
History: One of the driving forces in the creation of the Stargate program. Deciphered the Stargate addressing system.
Family: Father General Jacob Carter (retired). Brother Mark Carter.
Loves: Technology. Discovery. Motorcycles. Blue-eyed aliens.
Hates: The Goa'uld, particularly Cronus. Being unable to solve a problem.

Teal'c

Who He Is: Alien member of SG-1 and advisor on Goa'uld history and tactics.
Personality: Loyal. Honorable. Terse. Determined. Somber.
History: Former First Prime (a general) for Apophis' army. Betrayed Apophis to save and then join SG-1 to fight the Goa'uld and save his people, the Jaffa. Currently over 100 years old.
Family: Wife Drey'ac. Son Rya'c.
Loves: His son. Inciting rebellion. Gloating over his enemies.
Hates: The Goa'uld, particularly Apophis, Cronus, and Tanith.

General George Hammond, U.S. Air Force

Who He Is: Commander of the SGC.
Personality: Career military. Cautious. Logical. Understanding. Principled.
History: Was close to retirement when he took command. Stayed on because of the importance and excitement of the SGC.
Family: Two granddaughters, Kayla and Tessa.
Loves: Saving the planet. His family. Securing alliances against the Goa'uld.
Hates: Covert maneuverings. NID. Politics. Losing any of his people.

Captain Doctor Janet Fraiser, U.S. Air Force

Who She Is: Head medical officer of the SGC.
Personality: Stubborn. Inquisitive. Caring.
Family: Ex-husband. Adopted daughter Cassandra "Cassie" Fraiser.
Loves: Healthy patients. Cassie. Needles.
Hates: The Goa'uld, particularly Nirrti. Being unable to save a patient.
