Two-man aircraft capable of atmospheric and space travel. Gliders are mounted with large versions of the standard Jaffa staff weapon, which are capable of shooting intense and powerful destructive blasts.
Large, pyramid-shaped ships used by the Goa'uld for battle, mass transport, and as mobile bases-of-operation. They are capable of faster-than-light travel and are protected by force shields.
A handheld metal device. When used by a person that has been or currently is host to a Goa'uld, it is capable of emitting a healing energy that can repair almost any injury. It is controlled by thought.
The Jaffa are a race of genetically-altered humans. They are used by the Goa'uld as incubators, footsoldiers, and bodyguards. All Jaffa have a special pouch in their abdomen that contains within it a larval Goa'uld, which acts in place of their immune system, protects them from disease, and allows them to heal extremely quickly. Jaffa wear ornamental armor with animal heads to show allegiance to their Goa'uld master; they typically carry staff weapons and zats.
A handheld device that displays a page of text at a time. It can be used to hold vast amounts of data in a compact and transportable format. It is controlled by a round stone-like object; when that is passed over the page turning device to the left or right, the display moves backwards or forwards a page, respectively.
The personal shield is an energy-based protective armor that is used by Goa'uld system lords. It repels quickly-moving objects such as bullets, but allows slowly-moving objects to pass through, as in the case of the wearer being tossed a weapon to use; in Carter-speak, the force exerted is proportionate to the amount of the object's kinetic energy.
The ribbon device is a glove-like weapon that takes its name from the metal "ribbon" that wraps up the forearm of the wearer. The ribbon device emits a destructive energy that is generally directed at a victim's head, and if applied long enough, it will kill the victim by "frying" his brain. It is also capable of projecting a strong repelling force that can fling a victim a great distance away, and of emitting a hypnotic force that makes the recipient docile and limp. The ribbon device is controlled by thought, and can only be operated by a Goa'uld or ex-host.
The sarcophagus can bring the dead back to life and repair any injury, no matter how life-threatening. (Daniel has a history of needing to use them, starting with the movie.) The Goa'uld use the sarcophagus to prolong the life and health of their hosts. Events in the second season episode "Need" revealed that use of this device by healthy, non-Goa'uld humans causes a variety of undesirable side-effects.
Staff weapons are generally used by Jaffa. When fired, they shoot a destructive blast of energy capable of cutting through armor; a direct hit by a staff weapon will kill. They are controlled by a button set midway along the shaft, which activates (opens) and deactivates (closes) the firing mechanism.
The Tel'tak is a small cargo ship commonly used by both the Goa'uld and Tok'ra. They come equipped with transport rings installed in their large rear cargo bay. They can travel through atmosphere and space and are easily maneuverable. Tel'taks have self-destruct capabilities installed.
Transport rings are used for short-distance teleportation by both the Goa'uld and the Tok'ra. They are composed of five individual rings working in tandem and are capable of teleportation through solid matter and through space. It is unknown what the limit of their working distance is.
Nicknamed "zats" by Jack O'Neill, zat'nik'atels are gun-sized, z-shaped weapons that emit an electricity-like energy pulse. One shot will, depending on how far away the target is, knock a person unconscious or at least stun them senseless. The second shot will kill, and the third will disintegrate. It can also be used to disable electrical equipment (one shot) or destroy inanimate objects (three shots). Zats are used by Jaffa as well as SG teams and various other people across the universe.
