For the lighter side of Stargate,
Jonah in the Whale has two excellent stories that show our team in
action in sightly unusual circumstances. A Circle Of One's Own has
the team forced to undergo IQ testing, with hilarious results. Frolicking
is a delightful romp through the Stargate with all of SG-1 just having
a good time out there.

At over 1MB, Quality Of Mercy by
ELG is one of the longest stories in the fandom, but it's also one
of the best. When Daniel is captured by the local Goa'uld-worshippers,
his rescue goes sour and all of SG-1 must try to live with the consequences
of their actions. An amazing story with SG-1 fighting together in
the toughest of situations.

Daniel is the subject of interest
in C. L. Kamnikar's Somnambulist. Daniel's innermost thoughts as he
wanders the halls and rooms of the Cheyenne Mountain Complex on a
quest for a cup of coffee are alternately witty and poignant, and
always entertaining.

Jack to slowly lose his memories. As Jack tries to deal with his entire
life slipping through his grasp, his friends desperately search for
a way to stop the process, but will they be in time?

Doctor Daniel Jackson is imprisoned
on an alien planet, suddenly and with no explanation. In Corby's Creation
Myth, he waits to be rescued, and waits, and waits, and waits. By
the time he's finally found, it just might be too late to save the
man they once knew. Can Jack find a way to reach his friend and save
his soul as well as his mind? Dark and intellectual; a thoroughly
intense read with a tough emotional punch.
