The X-Files Multimedia
Archive (XFMMA) was a four-year-long project that ran from 1995 to
1998. In its time, it contained thousands of sound, video, image,
and other multimedia files totalling over 1.6 gigabytes; recieved
hundreds of thousands of hits each day; and recieved several magazine
awards, a national spot on FOX news, fandom-wide acclaim, and eventually
the attention of FOX's lawyers.
